Storytime: The Power of a Souvenir Cup
"If you're going to do promotional drinkware, you need to do it right. Make it clever, unique and cool!"
- Kristina from Connecticut Advertising
Have you ever been to a fair or amusement park and come across cups like the ones shown above? While you might think "yeah, but no one would pay $10 for that", you are easily mistaken.
Take it from me, the definition of a "Broke College Student". Back in September, I gladly purchased a $6 smoothie in a $10 Big E travel cup. (Ask me if I've used that cup again though...)
That's the thing about promotional products. If you design fun, high quality cups with a recognizable brand, people are willing to buy them for high prices. Take my example! Even as a marketing student and a part-time marketing associate, I was convinced I NEEDED this cup!
There's power in promotional products. They are made to remind you of an event and represent that experience in a positive light. In this case, in the form of a cup!
If you've never ordered a souvenir cup, I highly recommend giving it a try. After all, they work!
